Trade-in policy

Johnson String Instrument will accept for trade-in from the original purchaser instruments previously purchased from Johnson’s. Instruments will be credited at 100% of the original purchase price to be used toward an instrument of greater value, minus a reconditioning fee. Trade-in instruments in need of repair will be discounted accordingly. Johnson’s also accepts for trade-in from the original purchaser bows and rental outfits in good condition at 60% of the purchase price. *

*Electric instruments and Student bows are not eligible for trade-in.

• Any instrument or bow, with the exception of electric instruments and "student bows", purchased at Johnson's, whether online or in our shop, comes with the same guarantees and trade-up policies. (Click here for details.)
• Any returns made within thirty days of purchase will be honored with a full refund.
• Returns must be in original condition.
